The Virus are probably designed to hit your System program files.Nowadays these Virus hide under the names of Common running Process of Windows XP.So The Virus at the modern times, have begun to hit PCs in such a way that the Registry Editor, The Task Manager and Even Search in Start Menu gets disabled. So how to overcome these problems without using An Anti-Virus?
Its simple ,Easy.. and very good for PCs which run on Low primary memory that Anti virus could not be run easily.(For Windows XP).
So First step in debugging, we can use Process Explorer, which is an alternative for Task manager. Its available free in the Internet.
Using this you would be able to see all the Process running in your PC,Infact its better than Task manager as it provides the Path of the Process also.
So this could help us in tracking down the File.

Now by tracking any Virus file(note above sample doesnt have any virus), You can kill the Process or the whole process tree using this Process explorer, You can delete them. Thus a Virus file can be deleted. But even when a virus file gets deleted, its image may run in your PC.It can block the Registry Editor, Task manager etc...
